kat

that did look like a lot of filling, that spiral croissant looked nice

Sandy

I had the Naruto croissant at Asa Bakery (strawberry), and now I'll have to go to Desserts by Clement to compare.

Som Tommy

That looks like my kind of sandwich

Kirk

It's the Missus's current favorite spiral croissant Kat!

Thanks for the reminder about Asa Sandy! I've been meaning to return there!

Hope you like it ST!

Dereck

I absolutely love perfect cubanos. I wonder if I could just request less pork if I get down there some saturday.

Kirk

Perhaps Dereck. This was a pretty hefty sandwich.

Loren

Next time you want a good cubano (or any number of other good salads or sandwiches) definitely recommend Pepper Farm Deli in Santee. It's a truly amazing little bistro pretending to be a deli in a shopping center.

KZ

Have you been to Parisien Gourmandises/ Paris en Rose? (Same bakery, 2 locations) I don’t really like filled or rolled croissants but they’ve been well received when I buy them for others.

Kirk

Thanks for the recommendation Loren!

Been to Paris en Rose a couple of months back KZ. Still haven't done that post, but the Missus and I didn't care for it much. It's really nice that you buy it for folks!

Mike pane

You must if ordered the Cubano king definitely a hefty one , I always go with the classic Cuban , well balanced and delicious ,

Kirk

Hi Mike - Well, I looked at the photo and the prices on the menu. I noted that I paid $12; that's for the Classic Cubano. The Cubano King costs $14. So, unless they made a mistake.......
