I just checked out the menu for 8 Fat Fat 8 -- they have FRIED poke! Never heard of that. Maybe it helps soak up the alcohol??

Hi Peter - Yes, Sam Choy used to have fried poke on the menu and 8 Fat picked it up. It's kind of dry and I think they still use Aku instead of Ahi. I just went and looked for Sam Choy's recipe online (I have his cookbooks) and I found this:
