Thanks Kat!

De Cabeza has been on my list for a while, that looks so good!

Lately Kebab Shop has been back in my rotation. I know there's better shawarma out there so I'm always looking for recs. It's been a longtime standby for me for light but quick lunches after running errands or exercising. I dig the garlic sauce, that it's consistent and I can always find parking. I really enjoy Shawarma Guys, but with the long lines that's definitely not a quick lunch!

I find myself going back to Pizzeria Luigi when I'm craving a slice or two. I've tried several other pizza spots around town, but eventually make my way back to Luigi's.

For finer dining, I've gone to The Lodge at Torrey Pines a few times recently, mainly for business lunches and with out of town guests.

On another note, I went to Elvira in OB recently, it's the second restaurant from the owners of Cesarina. It's in the spot where Bo-Beau used to be. Have you been? I had the amatriciana with guanciale and it was wonderful. I'd love to go back and try more dishes but may wait a couple more months as they have only been open for a few weeks.

Hope you get to try De Cabeza, it's almost like comfort food for us! And thanks for the reminder for the Lodge; I gotta take the Missus to AR Valentien Mar!

I need to get back to Zgara soon

Kirk

Hope you enjoy it ST!

Your picture of that gyro reminded me to stop by Zgara, which I did yesterday. Perfection! Thanks.
