Birria de chivo is the only way to go, IMHO. Pre-9/11 we used to have a couple of spots in TJ that were reliable sources but these days, I don't really have a go-to spot. So, I'll be keeping an eye for chivo-related posts. Happy Almost New Year!

The Missus loved the Menudo Kat!


How does their menudo compare to the one from Super Cocina (my favorite since it doesn't come with hominy, which I dislike in menudo but enjoy in pozole)?


If I recall SC's version was a bit thinner and not as funky. Of course, I haven't been to SC in ages....let's just say that the last two times I've eaten there, my body rebelled and I didn't do posts H! So, I haven't tried eating there in over a decade.


I enjoy their menudo blanco.


I remember you mentioning that before Junichi! I gotta get the Missus to try that.


I'm a sucker for handmade corn tortillas.
