Birria de chivo is the only way to go, IMHO. Pre-9/11 we used to have a couple of spots in TJ that were reliable sources but these days, I don't really have a go-to spot. So, I'll be keeping an eye for chivo-related posts. Happy Almost New Year!

Kirk

Yeah, I gotta get back on my birria chivo search Kenneth!

The Missus loved the Menudo Kat!

H

How does their menudo compare to the one from Super Cocina (my favorite since it doesn't come with hominy, which I dislike in menudo but enjoy in pozole)?

Kirk

If I recall SC's version was a bit thinner and not as funky. Of course, I haven't been to SC in ages....let's just say that the last two times I've eaten there, my body rebelled and I didn't do posts H! So, I haven't tried eating there in over a decade.

Junichi

I enjoy their menudo blanco.

Kirk

I remember you mentioning that before Junichi! I gotta get the Missus to try that.

Nhbilly

I'm a sucker for handmade corn tortillas.

Kirk

Yes, always much better than the machine made stuff Billy!
