Are you familiar with Josh Niland?

what a nice time spent with a legend

It's great to see him doing so well. I still remember back when Catalina OP didn't have a storefront, he'd take you to the back where you pick the seafood that you wanted. Like you, I stopped going there after he left, I definitely need to stop by Tunaville more often.

I've heard of him Sage.

It's always entertaining Kat!

He seems to really be enjoying things Jason!

I missed hearing about Tommy and TunaVille Market. The last I heard, he was, as you wrote, on tv. The shop sounds good. I'm going to check it out. I still shop at Catalina but miss seeing the guy. I recall one of your posts about showing him how you did the stove-top smoker. Bought one after that. Thanks.

Hope you enjoy your visit ALNC! Wondering how the stovetop smoker is holding out! I still use mine and it's over 18 years old.

That's great Tommy is doing well.

Tommy's doing real well Soo!

LOL @ "Mister Grumpy" :-) Had no idea they sell percebes. I'm guessing it's the can in the photo labeled "gourmet barnacle?" I have never had them and am curious to try. I have seen them wash up on some beaches here, but guessed they are not safe for eating.

This was a lovely post, I'm overdue to paying Tunaville a visit!

Yes, it's the barnacles Mar! Hope you enjoy your visit to TunaVille!
