“the worst parking lot on Convoy”

I saw an Audi R8 pull out of that parking lot a couple weeks ago. I don’t know what sort of person takes that sort of car into that sort of hornets nest.

Liza

The Jasmine/Dumpling Inn parking lot has nothing on the Tajima parking lot - the one that is shaped like a triangle. I once saw a car parked smack dab in the middle of that space. Apparently they had simply given up and created their own spot.

KZ

100% the worst parking lot in Convoy. We don't even try anymore- street parking for us.

I wonder if all these bakeries will be sustainable. Uncle Tetsu did a pop up at Matcha Maiko and I found it to be just okay. Also, so many Mochinut stores popping up... I wish San Diego had higher quality Asian bakeries.

Som Tommy

I hope a lot of people like cheese cake In Clairemont

Kirk

Well, that person is getting what they deserve by parking there Sage!

Yes, I keep forgetting about that one....though along with the one for Chopstix...I almost don't even consider them parking lots! ;o) Hope all is well, it's great to hear from you.

Yes, quality over quantity seems like an alien concept at times here KZ! I also tend to look for street parking when eating at that strip mall....though the last time was before Covid! Hope all is well Katie; it's great to hear from you.

I hope so too ST!

Soo

Doh! I liked Red moon Noodle House.

Kenneth

Thanks for the updates. Man, there must a zillion Asian dessert places now in the KM area.

Sandy

I enjoyed Uncle Tetsu's cheesecake, pre-COVID, from Arcadia (when it was the only mainland location) and in Honolulu. Both locations are in a mall, but I'm sure this location will do well with the other nearby restaurants. Do you know if YikoYiko or Sunmerry have opened yet?

Kirk

I hadn't even heard they closed Soo, it was quite a surprise.

Yes, so many now in the area. I keep wondering what the saturation point is Kenneth!

I hope it's just as good here Sandy! Last I checked, neither Sunmerry or YikiYiko had opened yet.

Lynnea Fleming

I totally hear you about the drivers on convoy x_x it feels way scarier when on foot.

Kirk

Yeah, I hadn't walked around Convoy like that in a while and it seems like folks were driving faster than I recalled Lynnea.
