Thanks for the shout out, Kirk. Truthfully, I've only had wings at GC (and it was years ago), and I had been looking forward to a shorter drive to get them. A friend went to Golden Chopsticks recently, and she said it was just ok. I'll wait awhile before I go.

Soo

Thanks for the link! My favorite item is the Peking pork chops.

Kirk

Yes, kinda underwhelming Kat.

Yes, wait a while Sandy! And when you go; let me know what you think.

My pleasure Soo. We were kind of underwhelmed as a whole.

Our house is divided between GC and Royal Mandarin salt and pepper chicken wings. I’m Team RM and always order extra spicy as I think they make it to order and can’t give me any regular orders sitting there waiting to be picked up. And extra spicy isn’t spicy at all. We live in Irvine, but my family live in SD, and we have yet to find comparable salt and pepper chicken wings in the OC. We always bring some back after visiting SD.

Kirk

I'm on "Team RM" (I love that!) with you Nancy! And these places GC/RM/MC really don't make anything too spicy. I'm wondering why S&P wings haven't taken off like say...hot chicken? Great hearing from you and hope all is well.

I just tried the wings here and they had no flavor and were dry. Sad

Kirk

That's disappointing ST. I hope they improve over time.
