James

Thanks for the reminder - I live near here and don't stop by as often as I should! Their onion rings are indeed fantastic!

Peter

Cathy: Where do you get your favorite onion rings? I'm a BIG fan and am always on the lookout. THX

kat

that does sound hefty but delicious!

Cathy

So fortunate for you to have a great 'local' spot which survived the lockdowns, James. Those rings are so good!

Oh, Peter...I appreciate a good fry on every food item and the mixed tempura at both Niban and Chopstix is always quite perfect. However for just rings, Greek Chicken (it used to be Greek Style Chicken), with three locations in East County and one in Las Vegas is probably my favorite.

Quite a large burger as well as a large "size large" salad here, Kat; each can be a shared meal.

Peter

Thanks, Cathy -- haven't been to Niban in YEARS. Will definitely check those out (and Chopstix), plus get to one of the Greek Chickens -- I think there's one by the El Cajon DMV as I recall. THX!

Soo

That's impressive they make their onion rings fresh. I'll have to try them.

Cathy

Yes-at the South East corner of Graves at Bradley, Peter; that's "my" location. (The medium size Greek salad with chicken is my latest go-to).

The rings and the zucchini are both made fresh here, Soo.
