Congratulations and to many many more years. You've been my primary go to food blog and have truly enjoyed not just reading but my promotion to friend of the blog.

I have enjoyed the 4,731 posts and look forward to many more! OK, so maybe I haven't read every single post, but I have learned a lot about local places, recipes and travel from your blog.

Thank you, Kirk! Congratulations on 17 years. I appreciate all of your posts, fabulous travel, hard work, and dedication in documenting all of your adventures. It really helped getting through the dog days of COVID, to live vicariously through your exploits. Thank you for all that you do!

Wow, congratulations and thank you so much for sharing all these years! It’s always a joy to see new posts, and I’ve certainly added things to our travels based on your posts.

I think I first came across your blog via the Kalua pork recipe a long while ago. Years later it was the first food my son (~2-3 at the time) that he declared his love for.

Jessica

Happy blog anniversary! This has been such a wonderful resource – if I want to try a new place, chances are you've got a review. Thank you, and congratulations!

Peter

I'll do my best RD! Great to hear from you.

Oh my, the Oven Kalua Pork recipe Greg! That was posted back in 2005! I'm glad you liked the recipe and it worked out for you.

Thanks so much Jessica. I'm glad you found some use for our posts!

Thanks Peter. It's always great hearing from you.

Wow, I still remember the 1st post of yours I read about Tajima back in...2006!! I had just discovered it earlier from CityBeat (mostly appealed cause it stayed open so late). Despite moving states and eventually returning to SD, I've been an avid follower since that initial post. Thanks for all restaurant recommendations and travel stories!

Kathy

Wow 17 years!! That went by so fast. Congratulations, Kirk! ^_^

Kirk

Thanks so much for reading our posts for so long Jase! Wondering if you've ever been able to get those beans from Rancho Gordo? Hope all is well!

Hi Kathy, it's so nice to hear from you! Time sure has flown by! Hope all is well and that everyone is checking out Onolicious Hawaii:

Congrats on 17! Most San Diego based food blogs stopped during the pandemic but you kept chugging along! Here's to the next 17 ;)
