kat

everything looked great!

Cathy

Everything here is always good, Kat. Had a great meal with Kirk and Ed here in 2009. https://mmm-yoso.typepad.com/mmmyoso/2009/06/two-gaijin-and-kirk-at-okan.html

Dereck

Was the chicken flavorful and not dried out in the kamameshi? That dish looks really good.

Cathy

The chicken was moist and flavorful, Dereck. Near the 'end' half, I wanted to add something (in addition to the onions) like red pepper or soy...but I tend to do that with all my meals; eat the first half as presented, then add the condiments given.

It's been way too long since Bert and I have been here. Time for a revisit once I am on summer break (less than 4 weeks away). The folks here were so nice and welcoming from what I remember.

Cathy

Okan has remained wonderfully consistent in quality and friendliness, cc. The Lunch Menu has so many choices and everything is so nice. Afterwards, we go next door, either to Sage French Cake or Nijiya (or both) for desserts and other items.
