even if the food wasn’t so good I’m glad you could enjoy the time with your coworkers:)

Enjoyed this one. One of my most memorable meals of all time (in my pre-vegan days) was digging into a freshly roasted pig (lechon) on a beach near Cebu, Philippines. Sublime.

I hope someone had a knife to cut the whole chicken!

We did enjoy the meal Kat!

That sounds amazing Peter!

No, we just tore it apart with our bare hands Sandy!!! Just kidding; we did cut it into manageable pieces......

Glad to see that the chicken was consistently pretty good.

There's one of these in east Chula Vista (Eastlake area) that I've been tempted to try, but a lot of the reviews I've seen border on scathing and point to inconsistent food. I'll have to at least try the fried chicken at some point.

looks delish! will have to try their various deep fried dishes.

Thanks for the link. That's good the fried chicken was good.

Yes, it's what Max's is known for I'm glad it was good.

Yes, my friends who live in the aren't very fond of that location Joy!

Check them and let me know what you think Lori!

Yes, that fried chicken was pretty good Soo!

We tried Max's shortly after they opened and really enjoyed the chicken. I need to go back to try some of the other dishes too.

I do think the chicken is the most consistent item they have Kirbie! Hope all is well!
