stay safe Kirk!

Love the market at HFS. Traditional, fresh poke in a bevy of ever-rotating tasty flavors. I know the assembly line places mean well and fit into our on-the-go culture, but I weep at the slime in a bowl stuff that they put out. Thx also for the dumplings rec - I had just been seeking some dumplings options and here one appeared.

You too Kat!

Hi Joy - Try the Baozi at TJ's; the Jiaozi aren't very good. Enjoy!

I've noticed the prices creep upwards at HFS as well. I keep meaning to try their hot foods since they installed that new cooktop, but end up with the poke each time instead.

The only thing that looked interesting to me was the Fried Ahi Belly which I tried Jason. For a while they had a Hawaiian Plate; but I never got to check that out.

Nice that you have a some good options nearby.

Yes, I'm glad I do have some good options CC!

The Office Goat

Wow, I live near HFS and somehow missed the report last year (which I just read) and never heard of it. Some days I work from home so maybe I can sneak over and grab some for lunch. It looks great. If it's comparable to Kihei supermarket poke, I'll be happy.

I hope you enjoy HFS TOG.....try and get there near opening time; they can sometime be pretty busy! Hope all is well!

Lynn @ Oh-So Yummy

Mmmm we like the Kim chi fried rice from Sue's for a local spot. A long time ago we got this dish from Buga but they stopped serving it. I've also had the poke bowl from the market and I ate it all easily. I must eat a lot haha!

Glad you enjoy Sue's and HFS Lynn! They are on my regular "rotation"!
