I hope they will do well:)

Kenneth Bonus

Oh man, wonder what ever happened to Koby. We used to eat at the original and then later down in Santee while he was still the owner. Once he left, the cooking just fell off the cliff. Don't think I'm motivated enough to drive to East Village to dine but liked the post.

The fried chicken looks good!

Som Tommy

I need to try this place.

I love a good Issan sausage. I will give them a try. Did you get to try their papaya salad?

Great review! Thanks!

I hope so too Kat!

Things were never the same after Koby left Ken. My understanding is that he got married and moved away.

It's quite good Soo.

Check them out ST!

I wasn't too impressed when I saw the Papaya Salad TFD; so we didn't order it.

Hope you a chance to check them out RD!

Lynnea Fleming

Honestly, it's just so hard to get to anything in downtown these days...I've stopped trying , but I'm glad you were able to go support their restaurant! Hopefully they can keep it going!

I know Lynnea. I wish Sovereign was in a more convenient location.

The Issan sausage looks so good. I wish your photo was in "Smell-o-Vision"! I'll have to put this on our list to visit. I have to be honest, the location and parking is a bit of a deterrent for me, but I will find time to make a trip there.

Yes, the location is a definite deterrent CC!
