A few weeks back, on one of the days I was working from home I was wondering how Sandwich Emporium was doing. I had visited during the early days of the pandemic, but not since then. So, I went ahead and placed a phone order for my usual, the Spicy Julio. A few minutes later I drove on over. Well, I guess I shouldn't be worried how business is for SE these days, huh?
I'm glad I called in my order as I just walked on up to the counter and picked up my order. It was that easy.
As for the sandwich; well, as always it did just fine. Yeasty bread, creamy avocado, the roast beef this time around seemed better than usual, not over done and moist.......a bit of spice....which we all need in our life.
Seeing that Sandwich Emporium was one of the first posts I did back in May of 2005; it's good to know they are doing well....especially during these times. I credit SE with fueling my love of these little community sandwich shops that fuel us.
I actually should visit more often.

The Mira Mesa location is much closer to me, and it's time to get one of their sandwiches soon.
