Thanks for the review as this place is a great lunch option for me. In that same strip mall, I believe I saw a sign for a new Korean fried chicken restaurant as well.

kat

hope they’ll start making some of your faves.

Sandy

The old banh mi place was just ok, and I look forward to trying out this new place. I have seen the sign for a Korean restaurant as well; it's going into the spot where Subway was right on the corner.

Kirk

That's Padadak right RD? I think they've already opened one location near my work. I might go and check them out.

That would be great Kat!

I thought Banh Mi Bakery did a pretty good banh mi for the area Sandy. I do prefer the bread right now though. I think Padadak has one location opened in LJ and is opening three more in San Diego.

Jason

Glad to see new places opening up during the pandemic, hope the locals support it and their risk pays off. Maybe they can utilize that leftover bakery cases in the future to expand their offerings.

Kirk

I gotta give these folks credit Jason. It's a gutsy move. I'm hoping they do expand the menu a bit in the future.

Junichi

They sure did load up on the first banh mi. They must get good deals on jalapenos.

Kirk

That Banh Mi was quite hefty Junichi! I'm thinking they must "really" like jalapenos.....
