For Coco, I've heard they will open next year. I passed by that area about month ago or so and didn't see any signs for the restaurant. So they probably just started construction.

There doesn't seem to be much going on Elle, so I'm guessing you're correct.

The Saigon restaurant that took over the old Yum Cha Cafe spot in Linda Vista hasn't done anything since they put up the sign. Covid sure did put a dent in a lot of businesses plans.


That's for sure Junichi! Which is why these places opening during this time is even more impressive.


CoCo from Tokyo? We saw one near Akihabara last Winter but never made it in.


Yes, that CoCo Ichibanya Jan - thay have something like over 1,000 locations in Japan and are in another dozen or so countries - there's even one on Kapiolani Boulevard in Honolulu.
