Now I definitely need to try that place. The shrimp on top of the chile relleno looks quite delicious and filling. Mexico Lindo bakery is one of my favorite Mexican bakerys and of all of the rosca varieties at the other CV panaderias, theirs is the best, hands down.

the food at both places looked great!

The chile relleño itself was so good, cc, the shrimp were very large and that sauce! We will be going back to try the mole sauce. I do think Mexico Lindo is probably the best; I've stopped there for cookie snacks many times over the years.

It's fun finding new spots in other parts of the County, Kat. The bakery had a different location for years and this area is a bit more interesting.

Mexico Lindo's old location is where Aqui es Texoco is now located (which also used to be Al Pastor). It was a beloved institution. We would always buy our strawberry cakes there and their coconut bread. It was a bummer when they closed for a few years. I'm glad they reopened and are doing well at their new location.

I liked the old location; so convenient...but I also like what the old location became, cc. They seem to be doing very well; even has a Facebook page which is quite active.
