I don't think I've ever noticed this strip mall! Next time you're in the area, check out It's A Piece of Cake bakery in the strip mall across the street (with Armstrong Garden Centers and Stater Brothers).

Mmm... I love sponge cake.

the sandwich & curry sounded lovely!

If we hadn't stopped here, we were going to look across the street, Sandy...the people who live nearby must have to eat somewhere. The Bakery as well as Kitchen is great! Thanks for the tip.

Then you *must* stop here, Soo. Fresh sponge, real Bavarian Cream...

The bread, the sardine olive mash, the combination was just a perfect bite, Kat. The curry, definitely made from scratch, was absolutely wonderful.

I've never heard of Londres cake, but I would totally eat it, except for the durian flavor, ha ha.

I actually was thinking that the durian cake, with the Bavarian Cream filling, might be an 'easy' introduction to understanding the flavor of durian, cc. But I never have to know or learn that flavor.
