Soo

Sounds like a great life. You have done alot.

Kirk

Life's been great Soo......

Junichi

It's Raw is probably the best in town for poke nowadays. One of my friends met her future husband on a flight too!

kat

great post! poke in hawaii is the best!

Cathy

This is one of your romantic posts. I like these.

Sandy

How cute - I didn't know that you met the Missus on a flight! I need to go back to Hawaii to try these poke places. Even the poke from Foodland in Hawaii is good.

Kirk

I still haven't gotten around to checking out it's raw Junichi! It's been on my list for a while....I better get on the ball!

Yes it is Kat! Yes it is!

I'm glad you enjoyed it Cathy!

I'm glad you thought so Sandy! These days it depends on which Foodland. I saw fish treated with Carbon Monoxide in several Foodland....though not the one's I used to go to in town. Hope you get a chance for a revisit soon!

Christina C

I can only eat poke on the islands. It's the first thing I get after I land, well maybe after my wine. Lol.

RedDevil

Nice post! Got me missing Hawaii and I’m not even from there!

Kirk

I am probably just hard-headed Christina and would like to believe that a place can make good poke here where the focus is just not a fad, concept, and making $$$. Our basic first stop when we get back home is to grab poke too!

Lol RD! It's time to schedule that trip!

James

I have yet to find a poke I like as much as the ones at Foodland in Kaimuki or Masa & Joyce in Kaneohe.

Kirk

Foodland Market City James! My 'hood! I went to Kaimuki High School.....good to know the fish department there is still making good poke!
