Aw man, I never got a chance to go in to Zarlito's for their poke.I've only had it at food events where they were vendors. :(

Maybe time to wander back to Valley Farm Market in Spring Valley? My wife and I pick up 1-1/2 pounds of poke there every Friday afternoon to bring home for dinner later on. They always have ahi poke and salmon poke, plus often spicy ahi and something they call Gabe's hokey poke -- a mix of ahi, salmon, and avocado. They make a point of sourcing from sustainable, quality fish vendors. They also have huli huli chicken, maui ribs, and aloha beef for the grill. Good stuff. They're opening a new store in La Jolla near Windansea in August. https://valleyfarmmarkets.com/market/seafood/

Hi Peter - Thanks for the recommendation. I'll put that on my list.
