I love Urban Solace but the benedicts have never been my thing, since I like the biscuits to be biscuits, not the base for those runny eggs and the hollandaise. On their own, the biscuits are terrific. And that cinnamon roll is to die for!

Kirk

love those biscuits James.....though that foie gras torchon was sooo good!

kat

love these comc posts!

The Chicharron in Salsa Verde and red sauce is pretty good at Northgate market (there's a few of them around town). Super Cocina also has pretty good Mexican breakfast though their Menudo is a little on the bland side before you add all the fixings.

Also... have you been to Rana's lately?

Kirk

Thanks Kat!

I've actually had that from the Northgate on 54th Derek. Unfortunately, I had a bad reaction (you read between the lines) during my two visits to Super Cocina years ago.....and this form a guy who eats street food and such around the world. I just can't bring myself to return. It's been over a years since I've been back to Ranas....gotta get back there one of these days.

That's too bad - I definitely have my "can't return" spots that other people love. Thus far I've been lucky with Super Cocina (as a fellow street food person). I' haven't been to Rana's since I got back to SD but have been craving it.
