I prefer mom and pop places like these over the hipster joints that serve "waffle flights".

I need to link your post, Soo! So happy to see that you've been here. Never thought of ordering the pie for breakfast; did have a peach one at dinner, long ago-it was good.
So true, cc! We try to patronize local mom & pop places and kind of feel out of place at some hipster places (except for Aroma Coffee in Walnut when I had my first ever avocado toast) but the occasional chain slips in because of gift cards or convenience...

I knew what you meant, cc. I've seen all sorts of 'Flights' lately, and was in awe of myself for doing a 'Butter Flights' post last year...
