We stopped by here, years ago, before we did a hike at Potato Chip. The food was good. I've wanted to return to try their sweet breakfast items (pancakes, etc). So I'll look fwd to your brunch post.

The Bombay sandwich sounds interesting! The bread pudding also looks really good.

Nutmeg has been flying under the radar for so long, Faye; the quality and consistency is noteworthy. Reading the weekend menus when they are 'released' on Friday nights (on Facebook) has me making plans, which is unusual (the usual thing is to just be driving and stopping at random places with research later).
That sandwich was great, cc. The Mister has a thing for bread pudding-He always gets one at the Mexican bakeries when they have slices offered. Did you notice Mostra cold brew on the menu?

Love this place! Though I wouldn't call it in the Scripps Ranch area. This is thoroughly Sabre Springs! (Showing some love for my childhood neighborhood)

It is so very good here, m. Good to know others who have been to Nutmeg. Thanks for the clarification; I usually check Yelp after going to a new place and use their modifiers for areas as well as address/hours/website.
