It's time to C(lear) O(ut) the M(emory) C(ard). Here are a bunch of photos...and not many words.
Menya Ultra Ramen:
Perfect noodles, excellent ajitama......broth still not quite as good as when they first opened.
Still the best ramen in San Diego in my opinion.

Tribute Pizza:
Happy Hour on Tuesday to Friday from 4-6pm.
Sea Salt Foccacia with 'Nduja (of course). The Missus really enjoyed the wood fired veggies on the charcuterie board; which comes with its own "Foccacia of the Day". This time it was an "Everything Bagel" version. Our favorite so far was the Cheddar with Chives.....

China Max:
In search of more quiet time. I did miss the Missus though.
She usually has most of the seafood. All I really wanted were the noodles.

Pho Duyen Mai:
Yes it's "Them Bones" again. I actually got busy too quickly and forgot to take a photo until I'd scraped all the meat off the beef ribs.
Though the actual star of the show was this little guy. Who waited patiently, leash in mouth while his mommy finished lunch. What an awesome pooch! Amazing! I couldn't help but tell his owner how impressed I was with his focus.

Hi Sage and Kat - Pretty awesome pooch, eh?

That's a well trained pooch! Maybe he gets leftover bones if he behaves.

How was the wait at Menya on your last visit? The food pics at Tribute look amazing. That pup looks intense yet well mannered.

Kirk - how was the wait at Menya? I've stayed away for the past month or so. Also - who has a decent dim sum in SD these days? (and I know this is a loaded question as SD dimsum is lacking...)

I hope he is richly rewarded Junichi!
The wait was ten minutes Faye. The Missus enjoys everything except the pizza at Tribute.....
Hi Derek - We might have gotten lucky. It was just a ten minute wait at 1130. So maybe we just got in after the initial rush. Dim Sum....that is a loaded question. We go to China Max......though we mostly go to Sea Harbour....

Might be time to try Menya now; funny that we all want to know how long the wait is! Your response to dim sum in SD is very telling...

Finally made it to Tribute and liked it (good place for kids too). Miss good dim sum (used to frequent King Hua in SGV many moons ago).

Hi Sandy - Yes, the time (with good timing) might be right for a visit.
Hi RD - Glad you enjoyed Tribute......and decent Dim Sum is hard to come by in SD.

We went back last week to try another pizza (al pastor!) but now want to try the nduja and the bread you guy had.

Hi CC - The focaccia with the 'nduja is a favorite of ours
