The fried tofu sticks look amazing! I find it fascinating how tofu crisps up like that without any batter. I haven't been to GC in a very long time but would return to try out that salt pepper tofu. The waiter told me, on my last visit, they don't roast their own ducks. I appreciate how you save the duck carcass - my family requests the same every time !

Are those tiny bits in the tofu dish also tofu or garlic? Either way, it looks good; same with the crisp duck skin!

Ed (from Yuma)

Looks good. I really enjoyed my last meal there.

And duck bone soup is a good thing.

Everything is really good here, Faye. The lunch (and corresponding evening) specials make me want to try more than I can eat. We came here for Thanksgiving last year and had duck, saving the carcass to make another meal.

The tiny bits are fried garlic, cc. Part of that 'spicy' description and so wonderful. The duck skin is decadent.

Thanks, Ed. There is a distinct difference in the flavor of duck compared with other fowl and the bone soup is just amazing.
