Yep, that's us. Long story for another day. Anyway, after spending a good part of they day in airports, we're stranded here for the night. So we decided to make the best of it and have managed to get reservations at one of our favorite restaurants here.
Things are always a bit better after a nice cocktail.
And the food did not disappoint.
See you all soon!
Glad you made lemonade out of lemons.

How timely. Hey Kirk, if you were going to spend 2-3 days in Seattle with two well-behaved, culinarily adventurous/omnivorous tweens, where would you visit/pick/recommend? We're going in a few weeks for a wedding, and neither my wife nor I have ever been.

We did Jason!
We made it home ok Kat.
Yep, Delta Junichi....a double whammy.
Hey ToG - We love Seattle. Other than all the must see's like Pike Place; we loved the Walrus and the Carpenter; though go for oyster happy hour, otherwise they're $$$. Our current favorite is Sitka and Spruce; which is where we went while stranded. I find the vegetable dishes to be much better than anything with meat. Decent charcuterie though. We saw Terra Plata which looks super popular as is Taylor Shellfish. Have fun!

My pleasure ToG. Please also check out all my old Seattle posts to see if there's anything else you might be interested in. Even though I didn't think the pierogi place in Pike Place was quite as good as before; it might be a fun stop.
