Janfrederick

I really crave the pork chop and eggs here for some reason. We may have to kit it up this coming rainy Sunday morning.

Junichi

More rain this weekend means more reason to consume soup! Homestyle Hawaiian just opened a pub in Tierrasanta in the old Stein's location. Wonder if their menu's different than the other locations.

Kirk

Hi Jan - You may...nay, you should!

I'll let you know if I get there some time in the upcoming week Junichi.

Sandy

Funny, I hadn't been to Island Style Cafe in ages, but I was just there this week. I opted for the regular loco moco; the egg yolk was runny and it had lots of gravy. Now I'll have to check out Homestyle Hawaiian in Tierrasanta soon.

Kirk

Well Sandy, should I bust out that "great minds think alike" thing again? ;o) Glad you had a nice loco....

kat

I know I'll be grumbling about heat soon enough...

Kirk

I probably will be too Kat!

Soo @ hungryones

It's been a long time since I visited Island Style Cafe. Thanks for the reminder! I loved the short ribs and the fried rice there.

Kirk

Your overdue for a revisit then Soo!

Janfrederick

I did. ;)

Kirk

Glad you got your fix Jan!
