Ah that's what it was, Maggi sauce on my egg banh mi. Just had my first one last weekend.

Nice roundup of sandwiches!

kat

yummy round-up!

Soo @ hungryones

That is a good bunch of nice looking sandwiches!

Sandy

I guess I'm a spicy food wimp, but the Siren sandwich was waaaay too hot for me. You also reminded me that it's been awhile since I had a banh mi from Cali Baugette; I'm always glad that they always ask if I want jalapeno.

Junichi

Ha! Yesterday I had Cali Baguette (I miss K's) and last week I had Supernatural. So now I need to check out Havana Grill this week.

Kirk

Hi CC - Yes, that's what they usually put on Banh Mi Trung.

Thanks Kat!

Been eating more sandwiches recently than I thought Soo.

Hi Sandy - For some reason I thought you enjoyed Sichuan and Hunan food......

Check them out and let me know what you think Junichi.

Faye

I've been wanting to try the cubano sandwich at Embargo. Have you visited Tropical Star lately for a sandwich? We went there some weeks ago to try their Cubano - they have the best avocado there.

Kirk

Hi Faye - I had the Cubano at Troplical Star before blogging days and wasn't impressed.
