Hope your week gets better...no more santouka in Osaka now:(

jack

My son and I went to Santouka by default on Monday...tried to go to Green China Grill and Nishiki Ramen (both of which we have not been to) but both were closed. I have to agree with you that Santouka is probably the best and most consistent ramen in San Diego.

Kirk

That's a bummer Kat! We did see Santouka in Kyoto.

Both are closed on Monday Jack? Strange. But at least Santouka delivered.

Sandy

Funny, I was at Santouka on Monday by default too (I was going to go to Nishiki Ramen). I used to think Santouka's ramen was too salty, but not this time (or my taste buds have changed). My favorite for ramen is Yakyudori.

Kirk

Hi Sandy - I guess Monday is Santouka Day!

Junichi

I tried Santouka in Harajyuku a while ago for comparison's sake. It tasted similar to the San Diego location and was bummed. Maybe the original Asahikawa location is the one to try.

Kirk

Hey Junichi - One thing that was just as tragic at Santouka in Asahikawa was the egg......everything else though was elevated.
