When I first moved to San Diego I drove by Seafood City and saw the "Chowking" sign. I thought "Hmm looks interesting and only one letter away from 'Choking.'"

Soo @ hungryones

Mmm... Fried chicken. I'll have to give it a try. I usually go to Popeyes on Tuesday. :-)

I didn't know they had mango shaved ice. Curious now. There's also a Chowking at my Seafood City down south.

That's funny, Mr. Z, frequently I have to 'rerun' (or turn back the page) on something I've read, because I suddenly realize what I thought I saw was so incorrect. I hope you've tried Chow King at some point.

It's a cravable fried chicken, Soo. You could get a two piecer from Popeyes (it's really the same parking lot) and do a comparison...

Oh yes, cc. On the bottom right of the menu. We were there and I was going to get a Halo Halo, but this was less expensive (and larger).
