great roundup as always

Kirk

Thanks Kat!

Pam from Santee

When I visited family last spring, I went to Aqui es Texcoco twice. Thank you for featuring it on your blog! It's exactly the sort of Mexican food that I can't get in Boston, especially the papalo.

Kirk

I'm glad you were able to get your fix when visiting Pam!

the office goat

I need to order the plato azteca next time we go.
Last week, we got the family size (regular meat), plus a head, plus chapulines and nopales/guacamole last time. The kids loved the chapulines and the meat, thought the eyeballs were meh, the brain was okay, the cheek meat was excellent. But we could skip the skull and get more "greens" next time and I bet it would work out just fine.

Kirk

I think the tongue is pretty good too TOG.....though we all could use more "veggies"
