I'll take the Ricky Ricardo please! I don't even know what it consists of but for the name alone...

The building looks a bit art deco/streamline moderne. I wonder if it's original from the late 30's.

I am Ning Wei Wang, a former student of Ed(from Yuma). I love this article, I love Bye Bye Birdie, I love this cheese sandwich. Delicious bread, cheese, ham and bacon.I Love this great building, good restaruant! I used to eat the cheese bread in San Diego, CA. Yummy, I will eat and travel in the southern part of China.Yummy,Yummy, repeat it again.

I really think the building is original, cc; the glass bricks along the window tops along with the interiors(yes, I went to the bakery and there will be a post) are not new. The Ricky Ricardo has chorizo and jalapeño and is an omelet, but the Little Ricky is a chicken quesadilla. It's all cute, but the quality was amazing.

Hello Ning! I've seen you mention a few times that you know Ed (from Yuma); you can consider yourself a mmm-yoso blog fan. Maybe if you come back to San Diego, you can visit some of the restaurants we have mentioned.

Ed (from Yuma)

Nice post - I love the decor and the food looks good too.

Cathy

Thanks, Ed. We are always looking for locally owned, but also comfort (as in not snobby) atmospheres and food. Being pleasantly surprised by the quality was such a plus.
