My workplace frowns on having (hot) food at your desk. When I do need to eat at my desk and didn't bring lunch from home, I will pick up either sushi from Zion Market or a banh mi from Cali Baguette.

nice variety, though some hits & misses

You can't go wrong with the bentos from Nijiya.

My lunches look so sad compared to yours, ha ha. Too bad about that chicken/rice from Yum Cha.

So cold food is ok, Sandy?

Yeah....I'm trying to still explore food even though I have to eat from my desk Kat!

True, hard to go wrong with bento from Nijiya CC!

$13 bucks, wtf. At least the chicken didn't have feathers on it.

I heard of some departments in our office that banned eating lunch at your desk, but not mine. I wouldn't say that cold food is ok, but it's easier to fly under the radar. I should add Nijiya's bentos to my rotation!

Hard rice? Sounds like an epidemic of stubby fingers to me.

Soo H

Lucky! Wish somebody would bring me lunch...

Funny...I've had chicken with a feather or two on it before Billy! Not too happy with those meals.....

Keep flying low Sandy! Check out Marukai and Mitsuwa too.

It's basically not caring about what you serve Jan.

You need to make the right friends Soo! ;o)

I eat lunch every day at my desk. Albeit I make lunch. Then I read food blogs to decide where to eat for dinner!

I don't have a desk to eat at but I usually get fast food from 99 Ranch. Something about the greasy chinese food brings me back to my college years. I think that's why I love plate lunch so much. Kate and I usually finish the whole plate. LOL.

Hope you had a great dinner Junichi!

Man, even I can't eat that stuff TFD.....

dang, I am so jealous that you can run out for Nijiya bento! In fact, that is a very fine lineup of lunches you have been enjoying.

Hi FH - Yeah, Nijiya's bentos are a staple for me.
