another great day! I guess the Reserve line passed the test in Japan for them to start a shop in Seattle :)

Another wonderful travel post. I know that you and the missus are beer people, but Washington is becoming the hot new wine area on the west coast. Walla Walla and the Wahluke slope (among other places) in SE Washington are producing some very fine and spendy wines. I'm not sure if that is the reason for the paucity of good beer lists, but . . .

Hi Ed - It seemed like Oregon wines were doing real well and most folks were ordering them. The also love their cocktails. The lists at bars with regards to WA beers were really great and we passed at least 6 Breweries when walking from Fremont to Ballard, so I'm not sure why there's so little love....
