I like the original location much better as well. Plus it's close to home. At your rec, the seafood pescadilla is now one of my faves.

FYI - There will be yet another location of TJ Oyster bar on the corner of Palomar and Medical Center Drive, at the Ralph's shopping center. It will be a few doors away from Lolita's! I smell competition, haha!

It's mariscos weather, cc! That peccadillo is such a decadent favorite though. I think I like this smaller/hole in the wall location also because of the randomness of paper vs washable plates; it feels more like home. {I know where that location is-been to that Ralphs just a few months ago.}
