Soo

Wow! You are so lucky! Love your snowfall photos. :-)

Also really cool you found delicious roast duck and roast pork! Haven't had good roast pork in so long...

Kyle

That last dish needs some harm ha.

caninecologne

That pork looked so good - crunchy skin with fat and meat! Glad you and your wife missed that massive traffic jam!

Kirk

Hi Soo - And at a Thai joint of all places!

LOL Kyle.......that didn't even enter my mind. Though I prefer harm ha with ong choi.

We really lucked out CC.....

The endless quest for decent roast duck continues. I still have not found a great place anywhere from san diego to la yet. Some decent and even pretty good but nothing really great. Sad really.

kat

glad the food was worth the trip!

The Boys - Squirrel!

You Guys - Snow!

You guys were definitely saved by the food God that day! I do miss my Thai fix in NoHo.

Kirk

Hi Jeff - It is....I'll let you know if I find anything.

It was Kat!

Totally Billy! LOL!

I have to get around to trying preserved egg some day, my dad and my grandmother loved it but I was always a bit off put by the color. Besides the sulphuric/musty after taste how else would you describe the overall flavor?

Kirk

Hi JS - It's a pretty mild flavor....I don't think you'll have a problem with it.
