Kathy Quinn

Cathy, I noticed they will be serving Easter Brunch. Do you have any info on that?

Bert would like that chili! I would like those onion rings but not the feta cheese! :)

I imagine it was burning hot in Santee yesterday. It's the high 80's in my backyard right now.

Hi Kathy (and welcome to the comment side of our blog). The Oaks underwent some big changes last year (remodeling, adding that "Beef" menu, new promotions) and I'm not sure what they will be doing for Easter Brunch this year, but will add to this post-and send you an email- as soon as I see the details. For now, I will say the breakfast menu served here is excellent and I would expect the same or maybe even nicer.

It's a kind of "dry" Feta, cc. You can see the powdery residue in the doesn't have that liquid Feta 'tang' that you don't like; plus the choice of strawberries or apples on the salad is a nice variation. We didn't want to sit in the outside eating area because of the sun, but there was a breeze because of the design of the course. Inside eating area is very spacious (and crowded on weekend evenings).

You always find some beautiful spot for lunch and good food to boot.

Thank you, Bill. I try to share.
