My daughter got food poisoning from their campechana coctel last year. their consomme had a lot of celery and oregano. :(

Kirk

Your poor daughter CC......I don't know if you notice that I usually don't do raw seafood on the "first date" unless the place is fully "vetted".....

nhbilly

Are you going to do a comparison of the fish taco trucks maybe a top five list?

I think the three that I like the best are

Mariscos Tijuana Jr.
Mariscos Prieto
Toys R Us Truck in CV don't remember the name.

Derric

Hi Kirk. Don't know if it's the same owners but the truck in that parking lot used to be Mariscos German, which is where I got my fish taco fix after moving from Chula Vista. I stopped caring about the gas+time it takes to get to TJ Oyster Bar so I haven't tried this truck. Disappointed to see that it isn't up to par.

Jack

Thanks for taking one for the team Kirk

We stopped by that truck once when we were just walking around South Park and I got a special they had that was a ceviche type dish served inside a fresh coconut and topped with avocado. It was ok, a neat idea but ended up getting super watery.

Kirk

Those are pretty much my top three so far too Jeff:

Hi Derric - I heard the German truck moved to AmVets off Washington, but I've never seen it there....so I dunno.....

LOL Jack - I'm not trying to do that you know....I just want a good taco!

Hi JS - I wasn't too impressed with this truck.

kat

:(

Kirk

Totally Kat!

Ed (from Yuma)

Yuck - but the name of the place should have been the clue - everyone knows it's siete mares.

Kirk

Hi Ed - Actually, I was looking for Mariscos Siete Mares....which was the name I was given, but this is what I got.
