what a great array of foods!

i like your vegetable beds! rainbow chard!

Hi Kat - The Missus has kinda gone overboard.

Thanks has Frankie a bit confused though! ;o)

For a second I thought the grilled onions in the surf and turf were some sort of drilled limpets or something.

Anyway, no wonder you've been less than satisfied with your restaurant experiences recently. So when are you going to open up San Diego's smallest restaurant ala Rachel Khoo?

Not that I've ever "drilled" a limpet or anything... ;)

Hi Jan - If you like limpet and barnacles, make sure you check out my post on Porto when I get around to it! I used to work in a kitchen. I never want to ever work that hard again.

I'm jealous too. She is so lucky to have you. You're such a kickass cook!

Did you build that garden wooden box? I need more space in my yard so I can build one of those. We should exchange vegetable goods. LOL

Hi TFD - I dunno. I have a bag of tricks that I go to first and can usually pull something out of that. Travelling adds as well! I will definitely have some ghost peppers for MrC and you. Don't know how hot they will be though.
