Sandy

Welcome back, Kirk, and I'm looking forward to the posts on the trip. I think BBQ Chicken remodelled recently; I haven't gone there in a long time, but I recall seeing the signs when driving by.

Kirk

Thanks Sandy. I did notice that all the signs for BBQ Chicken are gone now. I read somewhere that it's going to be a Chinese restaurant.

Soo

No more Korean Fried Chicken in San Diego?

Kirk

Hi Soo - I think there's a place opening in the new Zion Market.

Soo

Cool! I liked getting Korean Fried Chicken once in awhile when I'm not going to Popeye's or Crispy Fried Chicken.

I'm really bummed about La Playita closing. That was the best place to swing by on the weekend and grab a Vuelve a la Vida and then head home and consume that with one or 5 beers, while relaxing on the patio..

Kirk

I'm bummed too Dereck. I was looking forward to grabbing a bite there when things get warmer. I'm hoping they reopen somewhere.
