Nice! I've only been to the Fish Bucket in Tierrasanta (which we liked). I love fried clams and oysters!

The Mister doesn't like oysters the way I do, cc, so those are all mine! He does crave fried clams though, so most of those are his. I'm liking this location a bit more than the other, but only because of its proximity to other business; the food is just as fresh and good.

LOL, wife and I share but we love everything. Lucky for me she can only eat so much.

Ha Ha, Bill. The Mister and I almost always narrow our choices down to the same two items, so the sharing is always enjoyed. He eats more than me, though.

The seafood combo seems like a steal at that price! Did it taste pretty fresh or was it mostly breading?

Are they using a panko type batter on the fish?

The seafood combo was an appetizer, Faye, so I guess that's why it's pretty large. All of the components were fresh and fried properly (crispy and not greasy); the coating was not thick.
It wasn't a panko, but more corn meal based, Soo. Some flour, I'm sure, but not much-thin and not all bready.
