Hi Kirk, it must be that season. I saw Mama Jamaica completely vacated last I was at Oton for lunch. Stumbled on a comment online that 'bob cha' can mean food truck in Korean but can't really confirm. Maybe it's their brick+mortar.

Denver

It doesn't surprise me about Moby Dick. Seems like the owner doesn't know how to run a restaurant. The last time I ate there I had the worst service (and I wrote the longest Yelp review). They were a great candidate for Restaurant Impossible.

Hi Dennis - From what I understand Mama Jamaica's is moving down the street on Clairemont Mesa.

Hi Denver - Yeah, they never seemed to put it together in a focused manner.

Soo

Bummer about Moby Dick I wanted to try their fish and chips. My go to place is closed because their space caught on fire. Mr Fish and Chips.

Kirk

Hi Soo - I didn't know Mr Fish and Chips had a fire......

Soo

I went by last week and they were rebuilding the whole space. Somebody yelped they will reopen in June.
