Xiang Jiao

I saw a Himalayan Salt block and I've been very tempted to get one! ^^


I had to google a Himalayan Salt Block. I've never heard of one before. Where do you heat it up on? A stove or grill? Does it salt your food?

Hi XJ - It's kind of interesting and makes a great presenation.....but I'm not sure it's very useful.

Hi Paulina - You can heat it on the grill or in the oven. You should probably only use one side....then you use the other side for serving food, like sashimi.

Hi Kat - The salt block was quite cheap so we thought why not get it?


Great meals you've had! Where can one find a Himalayan salt block?


Hi CC - We got ours from Sur La Table. I was surpised at reasonable the price was.
