very nice Cathy! never knew about this place. i remember the quivira conference center was one of the stops for bert's one day a week paper route back in college.

"a very popular decor.....40 years ago!" d'oh!

Wow, it's been over 15 years since we've been down to the Boardwalk. sheesh. The fish looks really flaky, yum.

ed (from Yuma)

I can't tell you how often I am in the area, and I have never heard about or discovered this place. Thanks!!

Nice post that brought back memories of taking my kids there when they were little tykes. They used to have a nice outside patio area but you need to watch for "robberies" by the seagulls.

The Conference Center is in the second parking lot South of Quivira, cc. You've passed it, as have many others...
Part of our new habits, Carol. Walking daily and doing so as if we were on vacation, or new in town, or dating...using a different set of eyes to enjoy this beautiful County.
We had not gone back to this area for about ten years, ed. But when we walked was exactly the same. The food is good.
I am so happy to know I brought back some memories for you, Ken. When we were here, all the outside tables were being used, so we had to eat indoors. We saw the seagulls hanging around (and three pelican nests -with baby birds being fed- in the tree in front).

ooh, love the cool shell suspended in resin tabletops! We were just talking about how long it's been since we've been to our big dipper rollercoaster in Sta Cruz... This looks like a great spot.

It's a very funky decorated, good food place, fh. Yes, go to your Big Dipper. Play tourist. Nobody checks!
