Beyond Timid

So cool! Loving the pictures. I thought the pond was fish on the road at first after the rain. :O

Interesting tea bag holder. That soup would have been good today too.

hi cathy - loved your photos of the koi in the pond! balboa park museums are such a treasure! even better when it's free.

There is nothing like soup on a rainy day !!!!!!

It was our own version of "vacation", BT. There are no rules!
The tea was very good, in addition to the soup, Carol....improvisation works.
It was a fun day, cc.
There are so many soup choices out here, Chris- Vietnamese pho, Mexican sopas, Japanese ramen and udon, Korean hot pot. Homemade, no matter the culture or spices, is just comfort.

nothing like soup to warm up!

You know there was one by my law school's old location (on San Diego Ave) and while I had coffee there a couple of times I never really remember eating there. I just know the coffee is outstanding

It was perfect on this rainy day, TSR.
I will go back and try a coffee (and one of the pastries), Loren. Passed by many of the locations but never had stopped before this day.
