The Food Detective

I think we all "won" on Seafood Island...well except for John, I guess.

Does that taco truck have $1 fish tacos? I gotta tell my dad. He loves fish tacos from taco trucks now.

How's the Natto compared to Yakidori? The one at Yakidori is a little bland but again, I don't know how it's supposed to taste.

bill

I really need to try natto when ever I get a chance. No kidding the name of that restaurant is in a way bland. I wouldn't have been able to tell what kind of food it serve beside seafood.

kat

wow! food blogging IS bad influence yeah?? glad you got your katsudon fix(es) :) and thanks for the shout out(s)!

Kirk

Hi TFD - Poor John..... I did see him yesterday and mentioned that he's going to be even more "infamous". The truck has "Especial Fish Tacos" for 99 cents.... I still like the natto at Yakyudori better.

Hi Bill - I think that place tried to do too many things.

Hi Kat - It sure is.....

Dennis

Hi Kirk, wow Seafood Island is closed. Been there only once about a year ago. Canine Cologne's recent post is making me crave Chicken Adobo, and I've definitely had my share of Pho cravings reading yours Kirk! :)

Kirk

Hey Dennis - Yeah, it seemed that they closed rather suddenly.....

Hannah J

Hmm, I've never eaten at Kayaba, I always thought the wax food looked unappetizing! But... that katsudon photo... LOOKS SO GOOD! :F

Kirk

LOL Hannah - I always think that plastic food looks yummy! ;o) Kayaba is pretty good.... you should give it a try.
