This was one place that I wanted to try but never got around to before I left San Diego... Maybe one day during one of my visits back!

They used to serve dinner a long time ago, it was a nice place to enjoy a leisurely friday dinner after a tiring work week. Not sure why they stopped, it was usually busy despite the slightly tucked away location.

The half salads have enough for me, HK. Though I sometimes crave ahi, the other ingredients in a Nicoise are why I order it.
Yes, Kirbie. I don't order fries any more but have had a few bites of the truffle fries here and they are wonderful. OPF is run by a husband and wife and it is good they take time off/have limited hours, so they can provide great food when they are open.
Yum, AZ. I have tried house made croissants everywhere and do think the ones here are the best.
You can visit, Rosa. It is worth the drive.
Hello Jason. Yes, when it first moved from downtown, I do remember hearing it was open late. I have heard (from the email list) that OPF will be open late or maybe Sundays one weekend a month. I will update once I know. Then I will be there! Welcome to our blog.
