too bad about Leilani's, I hate when good places close down. thanks for the mention too :)

Thanks for the updates and the links!

Hi Kat - My pleasure, I've been enjoying your Palau posts.

Hi Billy - It seems like changes come in bunches.

The last time I was at Leilani's, I got my food to go, and it wasn't what I had ordered. I guess that experience didn't encourage me to go back. However, a trip to Mo's new place is on the list this week.

Where is the Chin's on Convoy located? That building looks almost Wendys-ish.

Ohhhhhh noooooo, Leilani's in Serra Mesa closing is very sad. I was just talking about them yesterday - it was a nice little place. I'm glad there's another location, but gaaaah, it was so close to us :(

That strip mall is just so cursed. It really needs a good grocery store to inject some point to it.

Chin's looks good though.

Hi Sandy - The new Chin's will be in the former Pearl Lounge location.

Hi Natalie - I think you'll have to head to Mo's. I feel really bad about that mall.... so much potential. There used to be a Henry's in that mall, but when they tried to raise the lease, Henry's packed up and left. It hasn't been the same since.

Masa Assassin

Awesome a Taco Find! Taco carts in SD are few and Far between.

Hi MA - I should've seen this earlier since we live just up the street! ;o)

I've been following the Chin's construction. It does look almost done. It's taken so long! I can't wait until it opens.

Hi Kirbie - It'll be interesting to see what Chin's comes up with for that location.
