this is def. some cheap eats. where is your favorite xlb joint around this area?

Liz

I like this place. We were there last night. I really like their deep fried dumpling, and their dishes are pretty good.

kat

Kirk

Hi Liz - Thanks for the rec! We'll make sure to try that out next time!

Hi Kat - It must look really bad....because that's duck! ;o)

nhbilly

Salted duck looks pretty sick...

Carol

You know I love duck, but I don't think I could have eaten that grey duck either. And the "off" taste would have put me way over the edge.

meemalee

Ooh, I've had wrong-tating salted duck before, at Poon's in London's Chinatown.

It was nashty.

meemalee

I mean "wrong-tasting" - I do apologise.

"Nashty" was deliberate though :)

Kirk

Hi Billy - Doesn't look particularly appetizing, huh????

Hi Carol - At least I didn't use the word flaccid in my description, that might have taken it over the edge, huh?

Hi meemalee - Nashty is the perfect description! ;o)

foodhoe

the entire meal looked like it needs a do-over... did you get second breakfast afterwards? I hope it was good!

Kirk

Hi FH - Yes....and I did get the Fried Pork Rectum as a chaser.....
