I got my pestle but not the mortar (it was too expensive) So, I use the mixing bowl instead. But, I made a delicious Som Tum. :)


Awesome, thanks for the Okan update. I have never had nabemono before, but I like grilled dishes like gyutan... I can't wait to try some new food...!


Hi Kirk, did you try the kamo soba at okan? I saw their ad with it and was tempted. Nabe at the new place sounds great. My guess then would be they won't be open for lunch.. :(

lol the oatmeal comment makes me laugh especially after reading this post... It's definitely not my personal favorite for breakfast, This FOY likes dinner for breakfast!
